Bupa Aged Care taking dreams to new heights

Find out how Bupa's Wishing Tree Program made Lorna's dream come true.

Bupa Aged Care resident Lorna James fulfilled her dream of a hot air balloon ride, and spoke about it afterwards with Channel Seven's Sunrise program.

Bupa Aged Care home in Kyneton has recently launched the Wishing Tree Program which is focused on working with our residents to understand their greatest wish and then turn that dream into a reality.

Bupa Kyneton resident Lorna James (94) recently went on a trip-of-a-lifetime as part of the the Wishing Tree Program.

Lorna took to the skies to fulfill her dream of a hot air balloon ride across the Kyneton area where she grew up.

Bupa Kyneton General Manager Katrina Bolmot said that it was a great opportunity for Lorna and she was thrilled to be able to make this dream become a reality.

"For us, it's about putting our residents first."

Bupa Kyneton is one of several Bupa homes that offers this program.
