Melbourne rapper Bruce Edmonds Junior, better known as "MC Junior", was told he'd never walk again - let alone get back on the stage - when he experienced a severe stroke in 2014.

5 years on, not only is he walking, he's returned to doing the one thing he loves more than anything - performing.

He's thanked the team at Bupa Therapy and their co-ordinated care for helping with his extraordinary recovery.

He told his story to Seven News Melbourne reporter Nick McCallum.
