Kate Williams appointed Managing Director, Bupa Health Insurance, Australia
Following an extensive internal and external process, Bupa has announced Kate Williams will be permanently appointed to the role of Bupa Managing Director, Health Insurance, Australia.
Ms Williams has been acting in the role since September 2024, after having led our Health Insurance retail business in Australia as Director, Domestic Retail Portfolio for the past two years. In this role, she was responsible for developing and delivering products and services for Bupa’s Australian retail customers drawing upon her deep knowledge of customers and the wider healthcare landscape. Ms Williams joined Bupa in 2021 as General Manager, Customer Strategy and Go-to-Market.
Ms Williams is a highly experienced customer and commercial leader with more than 15 years’ experience in the health insurance and financial services sectors having previously held senior roles at ahm Health Insurance, Medibank, and ANZ. She holds an MBA from Melbourne Business School and dual degrees in Commerce and Arts from Monash University.
