Bupa Dental Care is proud to launch its 2026 Graduate Programs, designed to motivate and empower new graduates by giving them the opportunity to collaborate with and learn from some Australia’s most esteemed dentists and oral health therapists (OHT).
The 2026 program marks the very first time the Graduate Program has been extended to oral health therapists in keeping with Bupa’s ongoing commitment to supporting the dental industry as a whole. As part of the Dental and OHT programs, participants will be paired with a dedicated mentor and have the opportunity to develop their skills across Bupa Dental Care’s national network of 175 practices nationwide.
Bupa Dental Care Director, Guneet Sawhney said the program is crafted to equip emerging dentists and OHTs with all the resources they need to forge a rewarding and impactful career in dentistry.
“At Bupa Dental Care, we are deeply invested in the professional growth of our graduates who will shape the future of the industry in their own right. This means delivering interactive training that encompasses clinical practice, financial management, leadership and community impact.

“Mentorship is at the heart of our approach. Our experienced dentists and OHTs are committed to guiding, teaching, and supporting graduates, tailoring their advice to each individuals’ interests and goals. The program’s flexibility ensures that guidance is both practical and meaningful,” said Guneet.
Understanding the value of flexibility and professional development, the program also offers dentists and OHTs the opportunity to work at different locations during the program, the opportunity to attend three in-person CPD workshops and access to Bupa’s industry-leading digital clinical tools.
“We know that administrative and non-clinical duties can be daunting for new graduates. That’s why our support team handles these tasks, allowing graduates to focus on patient care while honing their clinical skills,” said Guneet.
