Health insurance giant Bupa has named former Labor minister Nicola Roxon as the new chairman of its Australian arm.

Ms Roxon, who was health minister in the Rudd government, will take over from John Conde when he steps down in March next year after a decade at the helm of the British giant’s Australian business.
