2018 Bupa Blog Awards finalists announced
The judging has been intense for this year's Bupa Blog Awards and after hours of reading, laughing, crying and deliberation the judges are excited to announce the shortlisted finalists for this year’s annual awards.
The Bupa Blog Awards were launched back in 2013, as a new way to share Bupa’s health and care expertise to a wider audience. Five years on, it’s become one of Australia’s most recognised blog award programs.
Jenny Yuen, Bupa Marketing Content Planner and judge, said the Awards started at a time when influencer marketing was hitting its stride in Australia.
“We’re very excited to be celebrating our fifth year of the Bupa Blog Awards, recognising people outside of Bupa who have a strong influence on their community’s health and wellness.
Over the years we have had a great response, with over 1,100 nominations received this year – the awards just keep getting bigger and better.
Styles and channels have changed over the five years with the growth of video and move to social platforms as opposed to traditional blogs, but we’ve kept the Awards relevant just as the bloggers keep adapting to what their audiences want.
Finalists will be invited to join Bupa’s exclusive Influencer Program, with free webinars, workshops and insights from those who have successfully navigated the influencer space. They’ll also receive opportunities to work with Bupa on campaigns throughout the year.
To help grow their influencer platform to improve the health and happiness of their online community - winners from each category (including People’s Choice) will receive $1,000. Our People’s Choice winner will take away $2,000 and $3,000 cash goes to our overall winner.
“Influencers will have the opportunity to work with Bupa and help amplify our brand through authentic and personal stories. We’re proud to offer an influencer program that helps our influencers grow their channels and connect with fellow bloggers,” said Ms Yuen.
