Meet Lynne: Village Manager at Wattle Downs, NZ

Lynne Westbrooke shares what she loves about working at Bupa Wattle Downs Retirement Village and Care Home in New Zealand. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

“
My husband and I bought our first house in Wattle Downs 35 years ago and I love this area.

Many of the residents have strong connections to this area. They may have grown up around here or still have family based here too. We invite the community in but we’re also our own community.

Our ongoing project is tending to our gardens with everyone pitching in to design it so we are ready for the next Bupa garden competition.

It really is like one big happy family and that’s why I love this job so much.
