It’s devasting to see some of our customers impacted again when they hadn’t even had a chance to fully recover from the summer floods.

Mr Carroll encouraged Bupa customers affected by the floods in NSW to get in touch with the team to have their premiums for hospitals cover and extras cover waived for an addition two months.

Bupa announced its initial disaster relief package in February following the devastating floods across South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales with customers now able to apply for the flood relief package through to 30 September 2022.

Mr Carroll said following the latest flooding in New South Wales, the disaster relief was extended for customers who had qualified for the Australian Government Disaster Recovery Payment.
