Hourly rate boost to all front-line Bupa NZ people during lockdown

Bupa announced today an hourly rate boost to all front-line Bupa NZ people by $2 per hour. This will be backdated to 23 March and will continue for the duration of the Government Alert Level 4 lockdown.

This $2 temporary allowance for every hour worked applies to all front-line people, both waged and salaried. The acknowledgement recognises the dedicated work and sacrifices that Bupa front-line teams are undertaking during this challenging time at care homes, retirement villages and rehabilitation facilities.

Bupa NZ has 48 care homes, 34 retirement villages, and 7 rehabilitation sites across New Zealand.
